A mixed bag of weather today at the racecourse (cold, wind, rain even some sun!!) for the seniors competition which was a 3-Club Stableford - two clubs and a putter!!
All things considered, the scores weren't too bad and it was a very close competition with just four points separating the top 12 places.
The top three all scored 27 points. Brian Faithfull was the count-back winner with a slightly superior back 9. Runner-up was Raymond Bilton who just edged out Richard Cross into third place.

November Medal
A foggy day at the racecourse for the first of the winter Stableford medals. Ten players braved the conditions playing "blind golf" most of the way round!!! Luckily we didn't lose any players, although a few golf balls were lost along the way!!
Today's winner with an excellent 36pts in the conditions was Jeremy Twaits - his second medal in a row. Runner-up, just one point behind was Andrew Mead followed by Steve Cobb on 34pts.
Full result - click here.
Two 2's were recorded today. Paul Tebbutt on the 11th and Andrew Mead on the long 17th. The two's pool was shared between them.
This is the first of four competitions counting towards the Winter Medal Aggregate (best 3 Stableford scores from the 4 winter medals). The latest standings will be published after next month's medal.
