A field of 34 Seniors competed in the annual Seniors Four-ball Salver competition today. This mixed gender event is played as better-ball stroke-play off 3/4 handicap from the white tees for the Men (Red for the Ladies). In quite breezy conditions (not unusual for the Racecourse!!!), the scoring was very good.
The winners were the pairing of Jim Green and Stephen Vale with a score of 67. With the next two pairings on 68, the runners-up spot was decided on count-back with Malcom Passey and Gerry Eatwell just beating Paul Tebbutt and Ian Blyth.
Thanks to all for making this another successful event for the Seniors.
