You may remember that one of our senior members (Monty Norman) undertook the "longest day" challenge back in June.This entailed playing four rounds of golf (72 holes) at the Racecourse in one day.
With help from some of the other members who played alongside him at various times of the day, Monty successfully completed the challenge.
Monty raised £900 for his chosen charity (Macmillan Cancer Care) and has asked me to to say a big thank-you on his behalf to all the members of NRGC who sponsored him and helped him on the day.
Well done Monty.
