After a damp start, the weather soon brightened up as 27 seniors (25 men and 2 ladies) competed for the medals today. As only two ladies competed, this was played as a mixed gender event with no separate ladies medal.
The winner, winning his first Senior gold medal, was Roy Whiting (18hcp) with a nett 72. One shot further back was runner-up was Jim Green (9hcp) whose 82 was the lowest gross of the day. A further shot back was last week's winner Harry Jackson (17hcp).
Well done to Bob Evans who captured the 2's pool with his birdie at the 16th.
