December Medal

Two days ago there only seemed a small chance of playing this competition, but a slight respite in the weather enabled it to be played today. Considering the conditions, a good field of thirty-three men and six ladies competed for the medals.

Division 1
A solid performance by Tony Glover (6hcp) secured the medal in the top division with 38 points. Runner-up just one point further back was Nick Powell (11hcp) who now moves to 10 handicap. Third place was decided on countback with Phil Knight (11hcp) just edging out Paul Seymour (7hcp) and Chris Moore (7hcp) after all three scored 35 points.
