Another beautiful spring day out on the course for the Seniors Bowmaker Stableford today. Thirty-six players in twelve teams of three competed for the prizes.
The winning team with a score of 83 points were John Day, Barrie Sloan and Frank Morley. The runners-up spot was decided on count-back with Bob Evans, Rod Spring and Alan Owen just outscoring Malcolm Passey, John Christopher and Ofer Ben-David on the back nine holes after both teams carded 82 points. In fourth place were Paul Tebbutt, Harry Jackson and Richard Hook on 77 points.
Many thanks to Sam Whiting for providing bottles of wine for "nearest the pins". These were won by Paul Tebbutt (2nd), Al Drennan (11th) and Bob Evans (16th).
