Week 16 and the final week for the Tuesday Evening League at the racecourse. With a few people away, there were just eight players this evening battling it out for the prizes.
Tonight's winner was the in-form Jeremy Twaits with another consistent performance and 18pts. Runner-up with yet another good showing was Diane McIntyre on 17pts followed by a quartet of players on 15pts.
The Best7 ladder was finally resolved this evening. Ian Martinez held a two point lead going into this evening and his two closest rivals could not better their own scores so Ian took the overall winners prize of a golf day for two at Frilford Heath. Dave Warwick was the runner-up just 2 pts behind Ian followed by Dean Butler another 2pts further back. Both win a Golf-Break voucher. Full results and details - click here. A big thanks to all who participated in this years event - hope you all enjoyed it. We will definitely be repeating it next year and hope to enlist more players into the competition. Many thanks also to Jason Allum who was instrumental in getting this league started again and for organising things on the first tee each week.
Also thanks to Ed Richardson for taking time out to organise the prizes and for attending this evening to make the presentations to the winners.
