In division 1, Jeremy Twaits was the winner with the best overall score of the day 34pts. John Butcher was runner-up on 30pts followed by Steve Cobb on 27pts.

No two's were recorded today so we have a double roll over for next month. (not quite as much as the National Lottery, but well worth winning!!!
Only one more Stableford medal to go towards the Winter Medal Aggregate competition. Just 3 players have competed in all 3 medals so far. Jeremy Twaits leads the way on 100pts.

Seniors January Medal
Eighteen players (15 men and 3 ladies) competed in the Seniors Medal on Wednesday. Luckily, the weather stayed dry but, because of recent downpours, there were a few temporary greens in play. Consequently, this was not a qualifying competition.
The winner, continuing his good form, was John Butcher with an impressive 39pts (he must be playing a different course!?!). The next 3 players all scored 32pts each. Gordon Turner was the runner-up just beating Steve Vale and Raymond Bilton on count-back.
No two's were recorded, so all monies will roll over to next month.
Many thanks to Steve Thompson for providing bottles of wine - the names drawn for these were Roy Whiting, Ken Croucher, Alistair McNeil & Geoff Denner.
(Apologies for the late report)
