After a false start last week when we had to cancel due to bad weather, the January medal was finally played today. Sixteen players (13 men and 3 ladies) enjoyed some welcome sunshine even though it was a very cold day. The medal was played as a Stableford in two mixed divisions.
In division 1, Jeremy Twaits was the winner with the best overall score of the day 34pts. John Butcher was runner-up on 30pts followed by Steve Cobb on 27pts.

Mike Miller was the victor in division 2 with a score of 31pts. Ken Kenyon and Phil Stubbs were 2nd and 3rd respectively both scoring 26pts.

No two's were recorded today so we have a double roll over for next month. (not quite as much as the National Lottery, but well worth winning!!!
Only one more Stableford medal to go towards the Winter Medal Aggregate competition. Just 3 players have competed in all 3 medals so far. Jeremy Twaits leads the way on 100pts.
