A chilly start but good conditions for the first Strokeplay medal of the year at the racecourse. Ten players (9 men and 1 lady) competed in one mixed division.
The winner with an excellent nett 67 was young Simon Mead who also reduced his handicap to 18.6. Runner-up, one shot further back and just missing out on a hat-trick of medals this year was Jeremy Twaits with the lowest gross of the day 80. Third place went to Steve Cobb with a nett 74 from his 8 handicap.

Just one 2 recorded today by Andrew Mead who took the two's pool.
