January Medal

A rare break in the weather for today's competition, although the last few players in did get a bit damp on the final holes when the rain started. Thirteen players teed it up today for this Stableford Medal.
The clear winner today with an excellent score of 37pts was young Andrew Mead. Runner-up was Stuart Briginshaw on 33pts followed by Paul Hickey who won the count-back battle for third place ahead of Rowland Barnfield and John Baron. Full result - click here.
Just one 2 recorded today (at the 14th hole) from John Day who claimed the two's pool by himself.
In the Winter Medal Aggregate competition (best 3 scores from 4 winter medals), John Baron leads the way with a 3 round total of 111 closely followed by Andrew Mead on 108. Latest standings - click here. Only players who have played 3 medals are shown.
