Fourteen players today in the May Medal. Weather conditions were ideal with some nice warm sunshine and a gentle breeze blowing. The problem is ... the recent warm weather coupled with the rain has made the rough really tough!!! You don't need to wander far off the fairway to be in trouble ... if you can find the ball!! I noticed a lot of provisional balls being played today!!!
Today's winner with a nett score of 71 was Paul Hickey (who must have managed to stay on the short stuff most of the time!!). The runners-up spot was decided on count back with Dave Warwick just ahead of Roy Whiting after both returned nett 74.

Dave Warwick scooped the two's pool today with an excellent 2 at the long par 3 8th hole.
