Senior members ventured on to the course today in sub-zero temperatures to repair divots and badly worn areas on the 13th to 18th holes. Two tons of soil were placed and raked to improve the fairways and fill rabbit scrapes to continue the ongoing improvement of the course. On Thursday another team of intrepid 'Old Gits' will tackle the 7th to 12th holes.

The Wrinklies (Seniors) have volunteered to help with the divots every year for the past 8-9 years - how come anonymous did not know that?
ReplyDeleteThank you to the Senior Section for all the help which is much appreciated. Many hands make light work.
ReplyDeleteWell done to all, forget Anonymous, if we just get on with caring about our club and course we will reap the rewards in the future.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes and thanks a lot to you all.
