Ken Boxall

It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that Ken Boxall died suddenly in hospital last night. He had attended a family re-union last week-end, and was a bit under the weather, and yesterday deteriorated and was taken into hospital, where he died peacefully.

Ken was a well liked and respected senior member of the Golf Club who up until about a year ago played regularly on Wednesdays with the seniors.

Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

  2. Well said Chris - he was a gent. A nicer man you couldn't wish to meet. Always a kind word for everyone.

  3. Both Mike and I agree with you guys - he was a real gentleman. He did not have a bad word to say about anybody. We were so looking forward to having him back amongst us on a Wednesday morning but sadly that is not to be.

  4. Thank you for your kind words about Dad, he spoke often and so fondly about his time at the golf club and missed his time with the seniors in recent months.
Dad's funeral will take place on Monday 14 February, 2011, 2pm at St Nicholas Church, Newbury with a gathering at the Club after a private cremation.
    Kirsty Fitzgibbon, Ken's daughter.
