October Medal

With the course once again in pristine condition and the best weather you could hope for, twenty-six men and three ladies set out this morning to play for the October medals.

Division 1
In the top division, there were some fantastic scores. Leading the way and winning the medal (surprisingly his first adult medal) was Max Nicholls with a faultless nett 63 and the lowest gross of the day 67. Runner-up was Andy Steadman who just beat Sam Boyce on countback after both carded nett 65's. One shot further back was Ian Folwell with a nett 66.

Owen Millennium Trophy
This was the last stroke-play medal of the year as we move into our Stableford medals for the winter (yes ... winter!!!). This therefore brings to a close the qualifying medals for the Owen Millennium Trophy. Andy Steadman is this year's winner with a late surge of three good scores to finish on a score of 300 for 4 rounds. Runner-up was Nick Powell on 321 followed by John Bye on 323.
