Thirty-one men and five ladies competed for the seniors medals today. Although the weather was fine, it was a lot cooler than of late with a stiff south-westerly breeze testing the players.
In the men's division, Al Drennan played a superb round of nett 67 to win his first senior medal. Runner-up was Tom Wallin who just beat Les Eden on count-back after both scored nett 69. Fourth place went to Brian Grace one shot further back. John Day carded the lowest gross of the day with 81.
