December Medal

Following a week of unsettled weather, the December medal was played yesterday in good conditions. The course was in great condition and the very good scoring reflected this. This was the second of the winter Stableford medals played off the yellow tees for men. 38 men and 10 ladies competed for the medals.

Division 1
Another solid performance from Carl McCartney (43 points) saw him take the medal in the top division justifying his reduction in the handicap review earlier this year. Runner-up was Nick Powell with 41 points with Jim Purvis just beating Tony Grove to third on countback both on 36 points.
