Seniors RNLI Stableford

A lovely spring day for the annual Seniors RNLI Stableford played off 7/8 handicap. Nineteen players (15 men and 4 ladies) competed for the RNLI shield. The excellent conditions should have produced plenty of good scores but strangely, that was not the case.
The winner with a score of 31pts was Sam Whiting. The runner-up was decided on count-back with Alistair McNeil just beating Linda Vale and Rod Spring after all 3 players scored 30pts.

Special mention for Scott Holland. He was not in the competition but playing for his handicap and managed to score an excellent 40pts (gross 81).

Thanks to Harry Jackson for providing bottles of wine for his birthday treat to the players.
