Action For Children

Yesterday, last year's Club Captain and Lady Captain, John Graham and Maria Tillett, proudly presented a cheque for £1679.00 to Action For Children to be used by the charity in the Newbury and Thatcham area.
John and Maria would like to thank everyone at the Club for their help and support in raising this money over the last year. Well done everyone!!

    I thought that it was policy that half the money raised would go to the Air Ambulance?

    As far as I'm aware Chris - there is no "policy" on this. Each year the incoming Captains decide who their nominated charity or charities will be.
